White, Black and Red Blooms at Newberry Library

Miranda and Richard had their wedding and reception at Newberry Library in Chicago. Their colors were black and white with red and flowers included ranunculus, garden roses, hydrangea, spray roses, lisianthus and anemones. Anemones are currently out of season, so we mixed faux ones in with the rest of the fresh blooms…and it is really hard to tell the difference from the photos–so–look achieved!!

For the personal flowers, I made 5 bouquets which had faux anemones, hydrangea, lisianthus, ranunculus and garden roses in them. We also made wrist corsages for the mothers and grandmother with white and red spray roses on pearl bracelets. And let’s not forget the awesome little floral wands! They were so adorable!!

For the ceremony, the couple only needed altarpieces which I made in white and red with hydrangea, garden roses, stock, lisianthus, mokara orchids and dendrobium orchids.

It was a simple but chic order and I think it all turned out great!

I wish Mr. and Mrs. Moy a wonderful life together! Congrats!
