Is it weird for a florist to get excited about the prospect of doing a white & silver wedding that is mostly branches? Because we were super excited about this one! Other than some stellar personal flowers, the majority of the ceremony and reception decor was light on the flowers and heavy on the branches! Look at all these beautiful personal flowers! Perhaps my favorite part of all of it with shopping for vintage brooches with the bride and her mother-in-law a couple weeks before the wedding. It was so fun and we found some really great pieces that Michele will have forever!
The ceremony decor consisted of 4 identical pieces in light gray urns with moundy white hydrangea and silver + natural birch branches. They were chic and simple and we reused them on pedestals flanking the doors at the reception at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club in Lemont.
The centerpieces consisted of pewter square vases filled with natural + silver birch branches with hanging crystals and votives and a rim of fluffy white carnations. A large silver urn filled with moundy hydrangea and silver manzanita branches with loads of hanging crystals decorated the escort card table. Flowers and branches also decorated the cake. It was such a beautiful event!
