That’s Amore at Venuti’s
Cathy and Brad were married at St. Raymond Church in Mt Prospect and celebrated their reception at Venuti's Banquets & Ristorante in Addison. Their colors were ivory, navy and silver and flowers included roses, dendrobium orchids, dusty miller, Dutch tulips, French tulips, hydrangea, peonies and stock. For the Personal Flowers, Cathy wanted a Euro-cascade bouquet which essentially means a hand-tied, slighting cascading mix of stunning flowers that has a contemporary look. Flowers in Cathy's bouquet included peonies, roses, dendrobium orchids, two varieties of tulips, stock and hydrangea. It was just stunning! The Bridesmaids carried bouquets with a mix of whites and silvery dusty miller foliage around the edges. The Jr. Bridesmaid carried a pomander and the Flower Girl carried a darling little Floral Wand. Brad and the Groomsmen wore rose bouts with silvery foliage and the fathers and other men wore double dendrobium orchid bouts. Corsages were made with a combo of roses and orchids. Everything worked perfectly together! For the Ceremony, I designed and painted a monogrammed aisle runner for Cathy and Brad that we put down before the wedding. We hung hydrangea from every 4th pew to decorate the aisle. It was beautiful and festive. We also had the traditional Sign of Peace flowers for the parents and Blessed Virgin Mary Offering as well. For the Reception, Cathy and Brad were fortunate enough to get a great rental deal on the candelabras from the venue--so we used them! For half of them, we just added candles and hung decorative crystal garlands from and for the other half, we put a white fluffy hydrangea arrangement at the top. They were very impressive centerpieces! Other reception decor included candles and petals on all of the highboy tables and guest book table, and put cylinder vases of hydrangea on the foyer and on the bars. I also designed a Seating Chart for them which was displayed in the foyer, along with wedding photos from the parents and grandparents which I made signs for as well. We also put vases for the bouquets on the headtable along with more petals and votives and petals and votives also went on the cake table. Dendrobium orchids and a monogram topper adorned the cake. The last detail was moving the aisle runner monogram to the DJ table so it framed in the dance floor. It all was so beautiful! I totally loved working with Cathy and Brad planning their wedding. We did so many fun things with the monogram and Cathy was totally open to DIY-ing things which is always fun. The monogram we put on the stickers for the favors and menus which Cathy made. I also put it on the Seating Chart, and I also helped her layout the programs for the ceremony which she printed and assembled and they looked great. I had the interesting project of making the gift card holder box which turned out great. They also wanted my signature THANK YOU signs, so I made those too. And, let's not forget the fabulous US AT AGE table numbers which featured the couple at different ages. All of these details made for the perfect wedding! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Twarowski! I had the pleasure of working with some of my favorite vendors at Cathy and Brad's wedding. The beautiful linens were compliments of my friends Czarina and Carina Melo at The Chair Couture. The wonderful music stylings as well as some of my lovely photos in this gallery came from my friend Don Kaminsky from XL-Entertainment. Both The Chair Couture and XL-Entertainment were at my own wedding! I also love Venuti's, it is a beautiful, neutral-decor banquet venue with great staff and a high attention to detail and great customer service.
