Description

Heather and Joe’s wedding was unforgettable for a multitude of reasons. And happily I can report that it was loads of fun in spite of tons of drama leading up to the event itself. I mean, even with a missing Maid of Honor and an awful photographer, we managed to have a great time! I had the pleasure of not only doing Heather and Joe’s flowers, but I also was a bridesmaid–and it still is the only wedding I have ever been in! Heather and Joe picked Purples, Magenta and Blues with gray accents. I still totally love her centerpieces and all of our bouquets. I love when I can look back and still be proud of what I did!!! That says a lot!

In this photo you can see Heather’s awesome hair and bouquet:

LIFE UPDATE:

How Long has it been since your wedding?
2 years and about 3 months

What is your best advice for brides-to-be?
Don’t be cheap when it comes to the photographer.

What is your best memory from your wedding?
The speeches. All of them were great, especially my step-dad’s.

How IS married life? Any Advice for surviving the first year?
Married life is great. It’s all about compromise. You can stand your ground when you disagree, but it’s okay to share, and it’s okay to show a little humility.

Do you have any NEWS you want to share (pets, jobs, moves, babies, homes)?
No news really. We have a dog, Malachy. No kids, not yet.

This is me and Matt enjoying the wedding:
