Several months ago, I made a FLICKR friend in Ariela of RBK Creations. Ariela makes this adorable bouquets and boutonnieres out of buttons and felt and fabric flowers. They are so awesome! I just love them. Ariela is also a fan of our fresh flower bouquets and mentioned to me that she wanted to connect with a florist and photographer and shoot a fresh flower bouquet that uses her items as beautiful decorative accents and focal points. This would show how you can hybrid the two ideas–stunning fresh flowers that every bride dreams of accented with beautiful handmade details that the she can keep forever. I told her I would LOVE to be a part of it, and that our talented team member and photographer, Tara Etrheim could do the shoot. We decided to go vintage with one bouquet and bout, and rocker/bright with the other bouquets, corsage and bout. We did 2 separate shoots and the results are fabulous! We are still in the editing process but here are some teasers. One thing for sure, RBK + KIO = <3!!! Her pieces fit in perfectly with my floral beauties and Tara’s photographs really capture that!
