Since I just had a fabulous 2nd anniversary weekend with my hubs and just looked through a bunch of my old wedding photos, I am feeling a little nostalgic. I have to say that after 2 years, I can look back and say with all confidence that I LOVED the way I looked on my wedding day. My make up and hair were exactly how I wanted them to be, and I looked like the best, most polished version of myself. I have the wildly talented Cynthia Sally to thank for my flawless make up and the fabulous Ryan O’hara of Blueberry Moon Salon to thank for my gorgeous hair. Together they made me look my best and an extra special thanks to Cynthia for making my little blue eyes POP in all of the photos…! When I look back I get so gleeful! That was the best day of my life!
Now, I know they say the proof is in the pudding, so if you want to see what Matt thought of me that day–this blurry photo captured his reaction to seeing me for the first time all made up the morning of our wedding:

If you are still looking for a MUA for your wedding, Cynthia Sally is fabulous and comes to YOU the day of the wedding (making life a little easier!)…and I obviously highly recommend her! She also recently added hair artists to the team as well–so its a one-stop beauty-on-the-go shop!
And also, if you are looking for an awesome haircut and style in the city, I recommend the talented Ryan O’hara at Blueberry Moon (but usually he does not go on site for wedding hair–just fyi).
Another piece of advice from “an old married lady”–don’t wait until the last minute to book hair and make up–or any other vendor for that matter–if you want the best–book them ASAP!
