Simple & Chic Chicago Wedding Flowers
Katie and Rick were married at St. Michael's in Old Town and had their reception at the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza in Chicago. Their colors where black, ivory, blue, and magenta. Their flowers included peonies, hydrangea, roses, tulips, spray roses, stock and callas. For the personal flowers, Katie carried an all-ivory bouquet of roses and callas. It was very chic! The bridesmaids carried all-tulips or all-roses bouquets and the maid of honor carried all-peonies. The groom wore a calla bout and the fathers and grandfathers wore roses. The mothers wore wrist corsages and the grandmothers wore pin-on corsages all made with roses and spray roses. For the ceremony, we just did Parent Flowers and Blessed Virgin Mary flowers. The church was stunning all on its own and did not need any larger floral arrangements. For the reception, we did a large, fluffy mix of hydrangea and peonies for the entry table. We also did our birdcage duo Card holder and Wishes and Advice Holder, along with all of the escort cards and table numbers. Both of which had a Chicago-theme. I also had made their invites which had a Chicago-theme. The reception centerpieces included simple, chic, monochromatic mixed arrangements in square vases. Half were all ivory and the other half were all magenta and hot pink. They were simple, textural and chic and fit perfectly in the space without obstructing the excellent views! I wish Mr. and Mrs. Bastian a lifetime of happiness! They were a pleasure to work with!
