Science-Themed Wedding | Evanston Golf Club Wedding | Evanston Wedding Florist

Megan and Brian’s science-themed wedding at Evanston Golf Club last fall was just awesome! First Blush Photography captured the day beautifully–even down to the little science details! The bride is a scientist and the groom is a doctor so the theme was perfect for them.

The wedding colors were purple, blue, bright green and white/ivory and flowers and foliage included astilbe, lisianthus, Bells of Ireland, rice flower, delphinium, stock, hypericum berries, brunia, wax flower, roses, spray roses, veronica and silver sage.

The science-theme was very evident at the reception…from test tube holders filled with flowers on the escort card table to flasks filled with flowers on the guest tables–the touches were simple, chic and totally unique!

When I look at these photos it makes me so happy as I’ve know this bride (and her family) for like 20+ years. I actually grew up with her brother Sean, whose wedding I also did last year! Cannot wait to see the photos from that one either!

purple bouquet

I LOVE the colors of this wedding. They really POPPED! And look at how great the bouquets look against those purple dresses…And also, OMG, Megan is one of our most beautiful brides EVER! She looked FLAWLESS!

Thanks again to First Blush Photography for these images and thanks to this fantastic couple who I wish all the happiness in the world to! Congratulations Megan and Brian!  <3 Love the Pratscher (and now Quinn) families!
