Rebecca and Jake’s AMAZING Salvage One wedding was one for the storybooks! It was vintage winter elegance at its best! Rebecca was a timeless beauty and her bouquet was one of my most favorite I’ve ever made! Look at these gorgeous images from Tim Tab Studios…LOVE THEM.
Both the ceremony and reception was held at Salvage One, a really unique venue in Chicago that has antiques and architectural relics all over the space. The ceremony space even had old pews, columns and a mantle from a bygone era and the reception space was outfitted with mismatched dining table and chair sets, oodles of couches and lounge furniture, and a large corner bar. We decorated pretty much every surface with flowers!
The bride provided lace table runners for all of the tables to soften and unite the look. She also made mirrored table numbers and provided 80+ cut crystal vases that we filled with beautiful textural flowers and foliage. We added gold and silver mercury glass votives on each table for more glimmering romantic light.
One of my favorite floral pieces of the evening was the large gorgeous arrangement I designed for the welcome table. It was textural and fluffy and fabulous. The bridesmaids bouquets were also totally fabulous. And the centerpieces…it was really just an all around fantastic event! I really enjoyed working with Rebecca and Jake and wish them a lifetime of happiness!
