Romantic Red Blooms at Stonegate in Hoffman Estates

Our second lovely all-red wedding was at The Stonegate in Hoffman Estates. The event coordinator at this venue, Aileen, actually taught the Wedding Consulting Certificate Program I took in 2007 at Harper College, so while we had not done a wedding there before, I actually toured the venue when I took that course. It was great to be back there, and the staff at the venue were so great to work with. The room looked amazing with the pops of red contrasting against the black chiavari chairs and crisp off-white linens. We got a lot of compliments about the beautiful big dark red roses we used, a variety called “Hearts” which almost looks like a peony with all of its extra rows of petals. It is by far my favorite red rose right now!
