Lauren and Eric’s Chicago Illuminating Company wedding was so beautiful! I LOVE the photos that Leathem Photography took of the event–they really captured how fabulous everything was!! Just LOOK at these centerpieces and the awesome uplighting behind them!!!
Lauren & Eric’s wedding had the perfect mix of fabulous flowers, decadent linens and awesome lighting (both candlelight and colored uplighting). Their traditional Jewish ceremony was held in the front of the venue which was bathed in natural light. They were married under our sheer fabric-draped chuppah at the end of an aisle that was adorned with a runner and scattered petals. The chairs on the aisle had floral bundles attached to them and cones filled with petals to toss at the couple after the ceremony.
The reception space was divided into two areas–a cocktail/dancing area and the reception/dining area. We did cylinder vases of submerged orchids on the place card table. In the reception space, we did dozens of candles on shelves above the main bar and on all of the guest tables in addition to having two styles of centerpieces–a medium-height one and a tall one. The tall ones had manzanita branches and a bunch of mixed flowers and hanging votives. The medium ones had mixed flowers and 3 pedestal candlesticks with petals and floating candles in them.
The bouquets were a chic mix of monochromatic purples with flowers that included orchids, roses and lisianthus. Lauren’s bouquet also featured some heirloom crystal flowers that were in her mom’s bouquet and a sweet photo frame with a photo of her and her late father. Totally brought a tear to my eye when I was attaching it!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE personal touches in the bouquets!!!
Below is the beautiful bride and her lovely maids–one of whom is Claire, one of my favorite past brides!! Claire recommended us to Lauren and Eric–and we all were happy about how that turned out!!!
Thanks to Leathem Photography for almost all of these fabulous images!
