Purple, Navy and White Wedding at Oak Brook Bath & Tennis
Lindy and Mike had a beautiful ceremony at a church in Clarendon Hills followed by an awesome reception at Oak Brook Bath & Tennis. Their colors were navy, purple and white and flowers included vanda orchids, mini cymbidium orchids, mokara orchids, dendrobium orchids, lisianthus, hydrangea, roses, hypericum berries, freesia, callas, stock and curly willow. The bridal bouquet was a beautiful mix of whites with some subtle green accents. Roses, lisianthus, freesia, callas, hydrangea and orchids were all featured in it, while the bridesmaids carried purple & green bouquets of hydrangea, callas, roses, orchids and hypericum berries. The bouts were made with callas and orchids and the corsages were made with spray roses and orchids. The church was decorated with hydrangea stems hung from navy ribbon down the aisle, our signature submerged orchid unity candle holder set and 2 gorgeous altarpieces. At Oak Brook Bath & Tennis, we reused the altarpieces on the gift table which also housed our rectangle monogram card holder. We did some candles in the fireplace at the venue and also made a really contemporary piece for the escort card table. The highboy tables and head table got some scattered orchid heads while the guest tables featured either a submerged cylinder trio or a tall sputnik-style arrangement on a pilsner vase. The cake had orchids and spray roses on the top and cascading down the front. Everything looked fabulous in the space and I was so happy Lindy chose navy pintuck linens and chiavari chairs--they looked perfect with everything else!
