Purple, Gray & Green Wedding Flowers at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton

purple green wedding

Rachel and Steve’s wedding was held at a church in Elk Grove Village and their reception followed at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton. Their colors were purple, green and gray and flowers included orchids, roses, hydrangea, stock, berries, brunia, silver sage, and lisianthus.

The bride’s bouquet was a stunning mix of purple and green blooms–including cymbidium orchids, vanda orchids, super green roses, purple lisianthus and purple hydrangea. The groom wore a cymbidium orchid bout to match. The bridesmaids carried mixed bouquets of silver sage foliage, super green roses, vanda orchids, mini cymbidium orchids, stock and brunia. The groomsmen had mini cymbidium orchid bouts to match the girls. The rest of the bouts and corsages were made with a mix of orchids, spray roses, berries, and brunia to match everything else.

For the ceremony, we designed 2 altarpieces, provided an aisle runner and 12 pew decorations for down the aisle. We also provided parent offering flowers and Blessed Virgin Mary flowers as well for the ceremony. The altarpieces and pew decor we later reused in the reception space.

The reception decor included pew decor hung on the front staircase banisters between silver tufted fabric. The place card table featured 3 tall slant martini glasses filled with awesome flowers and the highboy tables had submerged orchid centerpieces.

We also provided one of our birdcage card holders, vases for the bouquets on the head table, beautiful flowers on the cake and awesome guest table centerpieces. The guest centerpieces included two styles– a tall mixed arrangement on top of a pilsner vase with a submerged orchid inside and a short mixed arrangement in a silver mercury glass vase. They looked perfect in the space!

We love doing weddings at Arrowhead and always have awesome couples there! Rachel and Steve were no exception to this rule! We loved working with them and wish them a lifetime of happiness!!! Congrats!
