Adrianna and Matthew were married at St. Volodymyr’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Chicago and celebrated their reception at Chevy Chase Country Club in Wheeling. Their colors were candy pink and silver with white and flowers included hydrangea, roses, and stock.
For the Personal Flowers, Adrianna wanted a mostly-white bouquet of roses and hydrangea with some pink sweetheart rose accents and pink satin handle. I had some nerine lilies, so I added those too and they were the perfect addition. The bouquet was awesome and huge! The bridesmaids carried monochromatic candy-pink bouquets of roses and hydrangea with silver-satin wrapped handles. The flower girls each got a special floral piece to carry. The older one carried a mini bouquet and the younger one carried a floral wand. They were perfectly suited to each girl! Matthew and the rest of the guys wore rose bouts and the moms and grandma had corsages with roses and sweetheart roses.
For the Ceremony, St. Volodymyr’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church is so ornate and beautiful it didn’t need any floral decoration.
For the Reception, Adrianna borrowed her mother’s Ukrainian vase for the escort card table so I filled it with a beautiful, fluffy mix of white hydrangea, roses, stock and curly willow. It was so awesome! We also did a bunch of accents for the cocktail area tables and highboys. For the highboys, I put floating rose petals in square vases under floating candles. For the bar area tables, we did bubble bowls with lily grass and floating roses. We also did 2 accents like this for the lady’s bathroom too.
For the head table, the bride’s mom got some cute pink vases for the bouquets and we added a toss bouquet, petals and votives to complete the look.
The centerpieces consisted of two types: the first was a monochromatic pink mix of roses and hydrangea in a square vase with silver ribbon and monogram accent on them; the second was a trio of cylinders with submerged hydrangea and floating candles at top. Everything was so beautiful and feminine. Loved it!
I loved working with Adrianna throughout the process of planning her wedding flowers and decor. Everything looked so great and I am so happy for her and Matthew! In my experience, Matthew’s make good husbands! (lol!)
Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Schneider!
