Angie and Michael were married at St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church in Chicago and had their reception at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club in Lemont. Their colors were pinks including mauve and dusty rose, champagne and ivory. Flowers included hydrangea, roses, spray roses, stock, snapdragons, larkspur and lisianthus.
Personal Flowers included Angie’s bouquet of ivory and champagne roses, sweetheart roses and spray roses, lisianthus, peonies, garden roses, and hydrangea. The handle was wrapped in ivory satin with a champagne organza overlay and pearl details. The bridesmaids carried mostly pink bouquets with some champagne accents. One of the rose colors we got was EXACTLY the same color as the bridesmaid dresses! It was perfect! The bouts and corsages were made of roses, sweetheart roses and spray roses.
For the Ceremony, we hung ivory silk peonies from champagne ribbons on the pews and put 2 altarpieces in front of the podiums on the altar. I also designed a monogrammed aisle runner for them. We later moved the monogram to the DJ table at the reception and moved the altarpieces to the gift and escort card tables.
For the Reception, we also provided our signature rectangle card holder vase with monogram for the gift table. We also did 2 martini glass duos for the bar-one with mints and one with faux ice, floating petals and a floating candle. The head table was decorated with petals, vases for the bouquets and votives and the cake table was also decorated with petals. I also added roses to the top of the cake and randomly on the tiers. I also designed Angie and Mike’s menus which were placed 2 to each table. They were very cute!
My favorite part of the reception was the guest table centerpieces which included two styles-one short and one tall. The short arrangements were short cylinder vases with hydrangea in white and pink, stock in pink and peach, lisianthus in white and pink, and roses, sweetheart roses and spray roses in shades of ivory, champagne and pink. They were full and fabulous! Even more fabulous were the tall centerpieces which sat on pilsner vases. The pilsners had submerged ivy inside them, and the mix at the top of the pilsner was a full, nearly 2 feet wide mix of all of the flowers that were in the short centerpieces with snapdragons, ruscus and larkspur added.
Angie totally loved her flowers and I could not be happier about that. Angie was in one of my past weddings and even recommended me to another one of her friends whose wedding I did last month. I love when I have long trains of referrals from one happy bride to another! It is awesome! I also got to work with some of my favorite vendors at this wedding, including Amanda at La’di Events, Don at Xl Entertainment, and Cynthia Sally.
Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Cipolla!
