Brandi and Shun had their fabulous wedding ceremony and reception at The Atrium at Pazzo’s at 311 S. Wacker in Chicago. This was one impressive venue for a one very fun couple! Their colors were shades of purple and flowers included roses, stock, callas, orchids and tropical foliage.
For the personal flowers, Brandi wanted an all ivory garden rose bouquet with a tropical ti leaf and lily grass collar and handle wrapped in purple. I loved her bouquet. It was so simple and chic! The bridesmaids carried purple bouquets of roses and stock with ti leaf accents and handles wrapped in black. The flower girl carried a tropical leaf basket filled with petals and the bouts and corsages consisted of roses and foliage.
For the ceremony, we lined the aisle with the reception centerpieces and put down a runner. The altar area was in front of the steps of a large fountain and was decorated with the altarpieces and extra centerpieces. The altarpieces were made of tall callas, curly willow and tropical leaves. The centerpieces were made of submerged eggplant callas, Purple Crown dendrobium orchids, and violet Vanda orchids. The entire look was just breathtaking with the tall palm trees in the Atrium!
For the reception, we turned over the same area the ceremony was in–so we had to work fast! We moved the cylinder vase submerged arrangements into trios of three on most of the tables, and moved the tropical leaf arrangements with purple LED uplight to 4 of the guest tables and one was moved to the guest book/escort card table. The altarpieces were relocated to the parent tables and the head table was decorated with vases for the bouquets, petals and votives. We also did floating purple vanda orchids in square vases for the bar area highboys with floating candles.
The wedding was amazing and all of the guests were so impressed by the fabulous event. Brandi and Shun went all out with surprises and live entertainment-including Brazilian Dancers!
I loved working with Brandi to plan her wedding flowers and decor! Her planner Desiree of Dejanae Events was also a joy to work with. Amy took a bunch of great photos of this event–so enjoy!
Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Dyes!
