New Logo: From Cutesy to Sophisticated for Jessica Rivers Photography

Minnesota photographer Jessica Rivers recently contacted me to redo/update her logo. Jessica had a cutesy, hand-written-type font logo before but wanted something more chic and sophisticated. Together with her fellow photographer and good friend Tara Etrheim, they chose some inspiration, fonts and colors that we based her new logo off of. She wanted a silhouetted flower (she calls it a dandelion, but its actually an Allium) and dark purple, orange and gray colors. She liked 2 fonts for the name part of the logo and wanted a clean, all caps serif font for the “photography” text. I came up with a bunch of options and after a couple rounds of revisions, Jessica chose this as her new logo and watermarks! Yay! I think it looks awesome! I cannot wait to see what her updated website will look like with her new logo in place!

For any of my readers in Minnesota, check out Jessica’s beautiful photography–I particularly love how she captures children! So cute!
