Nesting-Themed Baby shower
I just did a beautiful nesting-themed baby shower at Arrowhead Golf Club for mommy-to-be Jennifer. Jennifer wanted a more rustic, natural look to her flowers with lots of neutral colors and accents of pink since she is having a baby girl. The centerpieces were a stunning, textural mix of hydrangea, stock, roses, spray roses, curly willow branches, wax flower, callas and lilac. Her mother, Dawn, put together adorable bird-themed candy favors which were displayed on my vintage cake stands (which I only loan out for smaller events). I also made my ivory birdcage trio with flowers, birdies and moss along with some cute signs. My favorite pieces of the shower were the mini bird nest arrangements I made. I made these nests for our assistant manager (Monica) 2 years ago for her baby shower, and will be teaching students how to make them in an upcoming floral design class--our Easter Centerpiece Tutorial in April (sign up now!). I took a ton of photos of the shower decor so make sure to check them out! If you have a baby shower, "sprinkle", bridal shower, rehearsal dinner or other event you need flowers for--please contact us! We do more than just weddings and corporate events!
