I wish Mr. & Mrs. Paprocki all the best! Congrats you two!
Navy, Apple, Ivory & Pink Creations at The Cotillion
Brooke and Kevin were married at St. James Parish in Arlington Heights and had their reception at The Cotillion in Palatine. Their colors were navy, apple green and ivory with pink accents and flowers including dahlias, garden roses, hydrangea, dendrobium orchids, lisianthus, spray roses, football mums, hypericum berries, and cymbidium orchids...and we also used some green apples in the mix! For Brooke's bouquet, she wanted a mix of ivory flowers with lots of dahlias in a soft, rounded shape. In addition to dahlias we also included garden roses, spray roses and some lisianthus and wrapped the handle with navy satin with a white pearl swiss dot pattern. The bridesmaids carried a slightly smaller all-pink version of Brooke's bouquet with a navy satin-wrapped handle. The guys had double spray rose bouts to match. The moms got football mum wrist corsages on pearl bracelets and the rest of the women had pin-on spray roses corsages with navy bows. Everything went together perfectly! For the ceremony, Brooke and Kevin only needed us to provide a Blessed Virgin Mary Offering, which our friend Amanda at La' Di Events was kind enough to bring to the ceremony for us. I love working with other talented vendors! For the reception, Brooke wanted 3 centerpiece styles placed around the room including a short full mixed arrangement made with all white/ivory flowers, a 5-vase collection of all green submerged flowers and floating candles with orchids and hydrangeas, and a tall cylinder vase filled with apples and topped with white hydrangea and white dendrobium orchid sprays. Everything had a clean, contemporary vibe and worked perfectly in the space with the navy linens. For the escort card table, Brooke made a seating chart in lieu of traditional escort cards and we flanked that with 2 trios of submerged apple/orchid vases. The gift table was decorated with our duo birdcage holders in Brooke and Kevin's colors with some floral and apple decor around it. The highboys near the bar also got submerged accent pieces and the head table got vases for the bouquets, petals and votives. The cake table also got petals and votives. I loved working with Brooke and she came up with some many great things for her wedding! I also did her photo booth strip design and her custom hand-illustrated wedding map that was including in her invitations!
