Modern Magenta Flowers at Indian Lakes Resort

Jennifer and Terry had their wedding at Roselle United Methodist Church and reception at Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale. Their colors were black, white and Magenta/fuchsia and flowers included anemones, peonies, roses, ranunculus, spray roses, nerine lilies and mokara orchids.

Personal flowers included a totally beautiful, textural monochromatic mix of peonies, roses, ranunculus, anemones and nerine lilies. The bridesmaids carried a tighter version with spray roses and no ranunculus or nerine lilies. The flower girls carried tiny little floral wands that were awesome and the moms and other women got pretty corsages to match the rest of the flowers. The bouts were roses, spray roses, and ranunculus some of which has nerine lily accents. For the ceremony, we made a Unity Candle holder trio for displaying the candles. It consisted of 2 glass candlesticks for the tapers and a cylinder vase with submerged orchid and glass plate on top for displaying the pillar candle. I love bringing chic, clean design to what usually is a very boring, metal candleholder. For the reception, we did simple, clean lines submerged cylinder centerpieces with Calypso mokara orchids and a floating candle inside, surrounded by pink rose petals. The escort card table also got cylinders and petals and the head table got petals and vases for the bouquets. I love how everything looked--and that was largely in part to the linens by my friends at The Chair Couture and Jennifer's glamorous look was created by the talented team at Cynthia Sally Make up Artistry which is now called Blend Beauty Studio. I loved working with Jennifer to plan her flowers! They turned out great and I love-love-loved her bouquet!

Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. McDonald!
