Kerry and Rob were married at St. Michael’s in Schaumburg and had their reception at awesome Arrowhead Golf Club. Their colors were purple, black and white and flowers included vanda orchids, stock, hydrangea, cymbidium orchids, sweet pea, mini cymbidium orchids, dendrobium orchids and peonies.
For Kerry’s bouquet, I did a mix of white peonies, white cymbidium orchids with raspberry throats, purple sweet pea, and one of my all-time favorites–purple vanda orchids. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of mostly purple blooms with some white accents as did the older flower girl. The younger flower girls got baskets with petals to toss and the bouts and crosages were made with orchids and spray roses.
For the ceremony, we lined the aisle with white petals and tied dendrobium orchids to every-other chair going down the aisle.
For the reception, we did 3 centerpiece styles and our signature monogram rectangle card holder for the cards. The centerpieces were a small square vase with vanda orchids for the highboy and cabaret tables; a trio of submerged orchid cylinders for half of the guest tables; and a tall cylinder vase with sculptural wired orchids inside with a purple LED light and purple hydrangea at the top. I loved them. They were modern and unique–some of my favorite tall centerpieces ever! We also provided vases for the bouquets for the head table and put petals around the cupcakes. I loved the cupcakes! The top one was so cute–be sure to check out the photo!
I loved working with Kerry and know I made a friend in the process! I wish her and Rob all the best in the world!
