Bethanne wed

Bethanne and Mike are a great couple with a lot of wonderful, creative ideas. They wanted vintage bird table numbers so they found a book of vintage bird illustrations which I scanned and made into fabulous table numbers. They wanted unique, nature-inspired looks for all of their decor…we came up with a ton of beautiful stuff to meet (and exceed!) their requests. We absolutely LOVED working with them! I love when a couple trusts that we’ll do a great job and give us some carte blanche to design awesome things!

Bethanne’s bouquet was one of the awesome things we designed. In addition to a mix of textural flowers and foliage, I also added feathers and wrapped her handle with her grandmother’s vintage headpiece and adorned it with a bird brooch. Bethanne totally loved it. We did too. :)

The tall centerpieces were another awesome thing…they were designed with a floral & moss base, manzanita tree and small nest in each. The sweets and buffet tables also had unique wooden crate centerpieces that were full of rich texture. All of these looks and more really impressed the guests and catering staff. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten so many compliments while setting up at Mayslake Peabody Estate! I can’t help but thank the couple for their trust in us…that goes a long way!

I know that Bethanne and Mike are perfectly matched and that they will have a wonderful married life! I was so honored to do another wedding for their family (we did Mike’s step-sister’s wedding a couple years ago) and I really enjoyed getting to know Bethanne and Mike throughout the process!
