Last Wedding of 2010: A Pink and Chocolate Affair
I just completed our last wedding of the year!
Kristin and Gene were married at St. Gregory the Great in Chicago with a reception at Seven Bridges Golf Club in Woodridge. Their colors were chocolate brown, pink and white and flowers included roses, peonies, spray roses, germinis, gerbera daisies, hydrangea, ranunculus, larkspur, and snapdragons.Personal flowers included a gorgeous peony, rose, hydrangea, spray rose and ranunculus bouquet for Kristin and matching bout for Gene. Ranunculus and spray roses were used for the rest of the bouts and corsages as well and the maid of honor carried a mostly pink bouquet of hydrangea, gerbera daisies, germinis, roses, ranunculus, and spray roses. For the ceremony, we made 2 altarpieces, hung gerbera daisies from the pews and monogrammed an aisle runner. For the reception, I did some paper items for the couple, including the escort cards, table numbers, and photo booth reminder bookmarks. For the flowers, I reused the altarpieces on the escort card and gift tables and tossed petals around the escort card table, head table and cake table. I also reused the pew flowers in a Blumebox in the ladie's room and put a Blumebox on the headtable for the bouquet. The guest tables were decorated with 2 styles of centerpiece including a short, full mixed arrangement in a square vase and a full, round floral rim mix with a cylinder of submerged petals in the center and a floating candle. I also did flowers on the top of the cake and put up a Christmas lights and brown beaded garland around the entry way to the reception. The brown and pink linens only added to the perfect ambiance...I loved working with Kristin and her planner, Karolina! It was a total pleasure and everything turned out beautiful.
Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Munin!
