Casey and Gary were married at St. Mary of Gostyn in Downers Grove and had their reception at one of my favorite places, Le Jardin at Cantigny Park in Wheaton. Their colors were inspired by peacock feathers with lots of creams and ivory and accents of peacock blue, bronze, navy and lime green. Flowers included dalhias, roses, garden roses, spray roses, hanging amaranthus, phaleanopsis orchids, dendrobium orchids, lisianthus, stock, delphinium, curly willow, We also did some peacock feather accents on the Groom bout and in the Bridal bouquet. For the Personal flowers, Casey carried a stunning teardrop-shaped bouquet of garden roses, dahlias, lisianthus, and phaleanopsis orchids with 3 feather accents and a handle wrapped in peacock blue satin. It was a beautiful, elegant bouquet and we made Gary's bout to match. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of mostly ivory flowers with roses, spray roses, dahlias and purple lisianthus. Their handles were wrapped in navy ribbon. The other bouts and corsages consisted of spray roses in cream and ivory tones. The flower girls carried tiny lime green button pom bouquets. Everything was mainly neutral warm whites with pops of other peacock feather colors...it was really elegant! For the ceremony, we made 2 large manzanita trees with hanging votives, moss and phaleanopsis orchids attached to them. They were later moved to the reception and placed on the escort card and gift tables. For the reception, we did a few centerpiece styles including cylinders with submerged white dendrobium orchid heads and floating candles; textural cream and ivory flower mixed arrangements with green hanging amaranthus accents in silver mercury glass vases; and tall pilsner vases filled with curly willow branches, all-white delphinium, dendrobiums, stock and other flowers with green amaranthus accents. Everything was surrounded by a lush sprinkling of cream petals and silver mercury glass votive candles. It was just really classy and fit wonderfully in the space. I am so glad we had a chance to work with Casey and Gary. Casey actually works for Ryan Alexander Events with her bridesmaid (and our mutual friend) Lauren LePine! I love when other vendors want to work with us!!! I wish Casey and Gary a long and happy life together! Congrats!
