Glamorous Library Wedding | Harold Washington Library Wedding | Chicago Wedding Florist

I cannot stop SWOONING over Katie + Luke's "Library Glam" wedding. I was lucky enough to have my friend Caitlin Hazelton tag along and help set up this wedding with our Kio team and she captured all of these AMAZING photos of our work. So thanks for that Hazelton Photography!!! Now if only I could stop looking at them... ha! bling centerpieces Our Kio gal Anne coined the term "Library Glam" which is the perfect way to describe the chicness that occurred here. It featured huge, fluffy romantic florals with touches of bling every where and one of the most creative escort card displays ever. The beautiful paper items were courtesy of Kio's very own Joanna McColgan who owns Mc&Co.  She totally nailed the library/book theme from the invitations to the table numbers to the escort cards! And everything shimmered too! glam wedding details In addition to featuring Joanna's beautiful escort cards, the escort card display also included 4 loose vintage card catalog drawers filled with flowers plus the 2 sets of stacked drawers that housed the actual cards. Mercury glass votives and bling also decorated the table along with custom-cut letter books by Finding Eden. The "K", "L" and heart books were TOTAL PERFECTION!!! library placecards Katie's bouquet was another show-stopper. It had a huge cluster of brooches in the middle of all of the fluffy peonies, garden roses and phaleanopsis orchids and the handle was wrapped in tulle from her dress and accented with a brooch and maribou feather trim. It was AMAZING. flower brooch bouquet The centerpieces and our signature floral-rimmed card holder were also AMAZING. Filled with hydrangea, peonies, dutch tulips, parrot tulips, fringe tulips, ranunculus, roses, garden roses, spray roses, stock, silver-dipped foliage, seeded eucalyptus and accented with drop crystals and mercury glass--they fit the space perfectly and really added to the Library Glam vibe. tall centerpieces sequins linen Perhaps one of the most key details in making the space even more gorgeous was all of the candles we lit. All 480+ of them!! We are so happy with how this event turned out--and more importantly the bride and groom and all of their guests loved it too!!! Congrats to Katie and Luke!
