Giving DuPage Tree at Cantigny

We finished decorating the Giving DuPage tree at Cantigny’s Robert R. McCormick Museum today and it looks great!  We made about 80% of the ornaments and decorations for the tree and mantle ourselves, and have posted the tutorials for them here. All of the decor we used on the tree and mantle in Maryland’s Bedroom at the RRMM was themed to go with the colors palette of Giving DuPage’s logo and the colors in the room. We also included fabrics in the tree skirt and garland that have an Asian motif since the room is decorated in predominately Asian-inspired decor.

If you stop by Cantigny in the next month or so, please vote for the Giving DuPage tree! The winning tree/s will get more money for their non-for-profit organizations…which is always nice!

Also note–We (Kio Kreations) will be decorating the mantles in Freedom Hall next week as well. So be sure to check those out…but I will post photos of those as well next week!

You’re certainly giving the other trees a run for their money! Thanks for setting the bar so high – beautiful!
