Ladan and Brian's Monte Bello Estate wedding was like something out of a dream! Perfectly captured by our friends at Tim Tab Studios, this wedding was a lush, garden-inspired fete that featured beautiful blush and ivory blooms indoors and out. We loved decorating the venue's dome with foliage garlands and floral clusters for the ceremony. The weather was a little hot, but clear and beautiful. Beautiful blush and ivory blooms and lots of foliage made up every floral piece at this lovely affair. Ladan's bouquet was a stunning mix of white, ivory and blush blooms with soft foliage. It featured peonies, lisianthus, roses, queen anne's lace, veronica, garden roses, hypericum berries, seeded eucalyptus, dusty miller and spray roses... just a few things! The venue beamed with light and the centerpieces accented the tables with pops of soft color throughout the space. Our signature card holder served as both a centerpiece and card vase on the place card table. We also reused the garlands from the ceremony dome down the head table along with the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets. The cake was both beautiful and adorable with lush fresh flowers and then an adorable peg people topper that looked like Ladan and Brian! So happy to have been a part of this wedding. Ladan was a joy to work with, and we wish her and Brian all the best!
Meredith and Dan's Jacob Henry Mansion was just magical! I always love a berry-toned color palette and this one just POPPED against the beautiful setting at the mansion, church, ballroom + surrounding gardens. Luckily our friends at Lilly Photography were there to capture all of the beauty of the day. Beautiful bride Meredith was literally beaming with joy all day long! There was no escaping the love in the air! Berry-toned blooms included vanda, mokara, dendrobium and phaleanopsis orchids, callas, garden roses, roses, stock, spray roses and lisianthus. There were three styles of centerpiece, a short style, medium style and taller style which all featured the berry-colored blooms. Perhaps one of our favorite details of the day was our signature floral-rimmed card holder which even had a little bling on it... we love making this card holder--it is always different and always a huge hit! We love working at Jacob Henry Mansion and with Lilly Photography. It is always great when our clients chose "dream teams" of vendors--it makes our job easier and more fun! All the best to Meredith and Dan!
We loved doing this beautiful wedding at Abbey Farms for Haley + Evan! She was such a gorgeous bride and the wedding was captured perfectly by Missy at Elite Photo. Haley's peony bouquet was fabulous! The blush and white palette of peonies, hydrangea, roses, ranunculus, garden roses, spray roses, stock, snapdragons, queen anne's lace, baby's breath, astilbe, and tulips paired beautifully with greenish-gray accents of seeded and willow eucalyptus and dusty miller. For the centerpieces, the bride provided a bunch of vases and containers that we put flowers in on top of wood slabs. They were the epitome of rustic chic and worked perfectly in the venue space. Can we just talk about how gorgeous this bridal party is!?! The bride just took our breath away! So glad to be a part of this wonderful wedding!
Jordan and Matt's Armour House wedding was like something out of a dream! Inspired by the beautiful gardens at the venue (Armour House), Jordan desired a look that was romantic and overflowing with soft flowers and foliage that highlighted all of the venue's unique architectural features. This included flower and foliage treatments to the staircase, fountain, fireplace mantle, cake, card holder, escort card table as well as to all of the guest tables. Gold mercury votives, handwritten place cards and single spray rose blooms at each placesetting finished the look. The space looked simply amazing. I have to thank Elena Bazini Photography for capturing it so perfectly! Jordan looked stunning in her gown and carried a bouquet that was inspired by actress (and recent bride) Nikki Reed's bouquet which featured peonies, viburnum, silver dollar eucalyptus, dusty miller and other textures. The handle of the bouquet was wrapped with fabric from Jordan's mother's wedding dress. The bridesmaids carried beautiful blush and champagne blooms with foliage and ribbons dripping down the handles. As a surprise to Matt, Jordan arranged for their dog, Stella, to have a floral collar and what down the aisle before her! Seeing Matt's reaction to Stella walking down the aisle was one of the sweetest moments of the day! LOVED everything about this wedding. Wonderful clients. Awesome venue. Great vendors. Amazing flowers. <3
So proud to be featured with One July Photography and other 'friendors' on Wedding Chicks last month! I loved designing this garden-style compote centerpiece, the whimsical floral crown and the fabulous bouquet! Jessica at One July gave me some color inspirations and let me design whatever I desired! I LOVE when people put their trust in me and let me do my thing! The results are always fabulous!!! The gals at One July and Elm Street Social also borrowed my bar cart for the shoot. I love my bar cart--it was such a great find that I bought years ago on Wayfair.com. Bonus for anyone who wants one--IT IS STILL AVAILABLE ON THERE WEBSITE! I loved being a part of this shoot. I really enjoy working with other creatives to orchestrate cool things! Sidenote - Cantigny Park is a place that is close to my heart. We love going there as a family and I actually used to volunteer in the mansion (pictured above). I was a volunteer docent and gave tours of this home (which is called the Robert R. McCormick Museum). It is a great (FREE) tour that everyone should check out! - Vendors: Photography - One July Photography Flowers & Bar Cart - Kio Kreations Styling - Elm Street Social Cake - The Sugar Path Location - Cantigny Park in Wheaton, Illinois
