Autumn Centerpiece Tutorial = A Happy Thanksgiving Indeed!

We had our Autumn Centerpiece Tutorial on Monday night and it was EXCELLENT! Great group of students and lovely floral selections made for some really awesome centerpieces. Everyone made a beautiful piece they can be proud of (and brag about) and display on their tables for Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday!

We used a variety of things (not just flowers) for these textural, bountiful centerpieces including: kale, rose hips, silver dollar eucalyptus, seeded eucalyptus, pepperberry, leucadendron, novelty roses, spray roses, pin cushion protea, panee mokara orchids, hypericum berries, billy balls, mini sunflowers, Sumatra lilies, and curly willow branches.

We also talked about making some accent arrangements to go with this fun mixed one, including small mixed arrangements, tall vases with floating cranberries and floating candles, beans in a short vase with a votive candle inside and how to add leaves, gourds, branches, burlap and pods to accent the fall tablescape.

I cannot wait until our Holiday (Xmas) Centerpiece Tutorial next month–email me if you want to sign up!
And also, have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
