Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton just hosted their “Seasons of Love Event” and asked us to be a part of it. We did “Spring” and a couple accents in the “Winter” and “Chicago” rooms. I love working with the staff at Arrowhead, and we do a lot of weddings there every year! It is easily one of our favorite venues!
I chose an overall color scheme of dark purple, lavender, light green, white and silver…
For our Winter accent, I just had two highboys that needed decor–so I did a square with grass and a mini cymbidium orchid and wire inside with a bubble bowl floating candle and 2 white glitter candles all held within silver frames with some scattered faux snow to add to the season!
For the Chicago Snack room, I designed a logo with Arrowhead symbol and the Chicago skyline in it, and the Lighting/DJ Company turned it into a GOBO that shined on the wall. I also made 4 signs for the different late night snack stations.
For our Spring look, I did a guest table and 2 highboys. The highboys had small mixed arrangements in brandy snifters and with 2 silver mercury glass votives. I also did a guest table with lilac linens, a grass mat runner, mercury glass votives, some small accent arrangements and a beautiful, textural main centerpiece. I also made all of the coordinating paper products including the place cards, table number, and menus.
For our Show table, I did half of my table with a vintage, collected look, and half with a modern, clean lines look. I figured I would cover my main clients’ tastes that way! The vintage look included branches, birdcages, candlesticks and lush flowers. The modern look had a large manzanita tree with pomander orbs and hanging orchid vases as well as a collection of modern, sculptural centerpieces. There was a double topsy-turvy bowl look, a large bowl with tulips, orchids and grass and 2 tall cylinders with balanced tulips and grass.
Everything was very chic and all of my brides that stopped by loved it! I think we had the coolest booth there…!
