An Awesome Arrowhead Wedding in Raspberry and Kiwi

Deanne and Andrew were married at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Naperville and had their reception at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton afterward. Their colors were raspberry and kiwi with some eggplant accents here and there. Flowers included orchids, tulips, hydrangea, trachelium, and stock.

Their personal flowers included a gorgeous all-white orchid, tulip and ranunculus bouquet for Deanne and matching orchid bout for Andrew. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of trachelium, tulips, orchids and stock with eggplant ribbon handles. The bouts and corsages were made with a variety of orchids to coordinate with the bouquets and the rest of the decor.

For the ceremony, we did 8 stems of hydrangea hung from ivory ribbon going down the aisle on each side. We also did a Mary Offering of 3 white tulips and foliage as well as a monogrammed aisle runner. The runner was later moved to the DJ table and the pew hydrangeas were later reused in 7 of the reception centerpieces.

For the reception, we provided a birdcage card holder for the gifts and a manzanita tree for the escort card table with orchids, hanging bling and votives and a floral-covered base. The rehearsal dinner arrangements were reused in the cocktail area, ladies’ restroom, next to the card holder and on the vendor table. The guest tables were decorated with 2 different styles of centerpiece. Half of them had a trio of submerged orchid cylinders, and the other half had a large square vase with fluffy white hydrangea and raspberry stock with a purple LED light inside. They looked great next to the floral table numbers and on top of the beautiful runners. My multi-talented friend Cynthia Sally, not only did Deanne’s make up, but also made the table numbers and my talented friends at The Chair Couture made the stunning table runners. The head table was decorated with votives, vases for the bouquets and petals lining the front. The cake table was also decorated with petals and the cake itself was beautifully adorned with 4 different types of orchids. It was just fabulous!

I had a great time doing Deanne and Andrew’s wedding. They hired some of my absolute favorite vendors–including the great venue–Arrowhead Golf Club, Hazelton Photography, DJ XL-Entertainment, Make up and table numbers by Cynthia Sally, and specialty linens by The Chair Couture. It was a dream team for sure!

I wish Deanne and Andrew a long and happy life together. All the best to you both!

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Myers!

After seeing these pictures, I wish I could get married all over again! Everything so well done, beautiful setting, combination of flowers and colors, textures, and the photographer did an excellent job showcasing and showing everything in detail. Very well done. I can’t wait to see pictures of the bride and groom!
