"One of the most important parts of any wedding is of course, the floral décor. It was very important that I found someone who understood my vision, within my budget! Having a long distance fiancé left me to do the majority of wedding planning on my own. I, of course, wanted to pick things he would like as well. I searched high and low trying to find someone with a broad repertoire, so I knew they would be able to create my dream!

Fortunately, I came across Kio Kreations, courtesy of my cousin who is using Kristen & co. for her wedding in October! I am always a glass half empty person and went to our meeting a bit skeptical. Always error on the side of caution, right?! Kristen flat out asked what I envisioned for my big day and after I babbled, for what I’m sure seemed like forever, Kristen started showing me her work. After seeing a vast array of images, all I could keep saying was, “oh, that’s pretty” and “I like that!” At one point Kristen said, “Michelle you’re saying you like everything.“ Her creative mind quickly pulled together 3 different looks for our reception, on budget! Not wanting to jump the gun, I said I would have to “think about it” and get back to her. Who signs a contract without meeting other florist’s right?! Well, Kio Kreations was the one and only creative design service I had to meet with, because from the first minute, Kristen designed my dream wedding, paper products included all within our budget!

No wedding goes without hiccups and ours was no exception. Two weeks before our big day, there were what seemed to be very big changes to me, but not to Kristen. She stepped up and handled it all like a true professional. I kept everything top secret so my parents and other guests would be surprised and they were! Everyone was walking around, touching the centerpieces and raving about all the little touches Kristen & co did, like a wishing tree, to make our reception so fantastic! The words beautiful, gorgeous and breathtaking were commonly used throughout the night. My husband and I can’t thank Kio Kreations enough for being such a large part of our wedding and making everything from the first meeting to the day of flow so effortlessly! "

"My wedding day was a smash hit because of Kio Kreations. Truly! I absolutely loved-oved-oved every detail that Kristen and her staff accomplished for our special day. Kristen totally outdid herself in every which way! She captured the vintage-chic wedding that I envisioned and more. I shared my ideas for our wedding and Kristen was so eager to set to the task, accomplishing more than I could have ever expected. I cannot keep count about how many compliments I received about the flowers and decor at my wedding. She blended the most unique flowers for our day. One example was my bouquet which complete with old buttons, antique lace, and an heirloom brooch - it was to die for. The soft, ethereal feel of our reception was mastered by Kristen's use of flowers in pinks, blushes, ivories, mustards, and blues. She incorporated antique milk glass vases, mason jars, and cut-out table numbers which added to the warm, cozy feel. The flower board that she created for my "guestbook" is beyond words - it is seriously the most special treasure of our evening. Kristen - you are a gem - you made my wedding so original and memorable. You are famous in my book and need to continue on in your empire of imaginative, one-of-a-kind weddings. I feel like I won the "florist" lottery in discovering you from a mutual friend. Also, you were the warmest, most genuine person to work with during the preparation for our wedding. "The second I met Kristen I knew we were going to book her! When we met I had all these ideas that I liked and it was really all over the place. Kristen took the time to really get to know us and was able to start to see the look and feel we wanted with our wedding, even among the laundry list of things we wanted to include. "What can I say about Kristen besides that she is a truly gifted florist! She did our personal flowers, ceremony decorations, cocktail hour centerpieces and reception centerpieces, and I loved each and every thing she did for the wedding. Working with her was an incredibly enjoyable experience because I could just give her ideas and let her run with them! For instance, one of my centerpieces was some cheap $8 little spiral candle holder, which I thought looked too plain, and she came back with a bunch of ideas about how we could dress them up, and they were so creative! She also did my tall centerpieces sand re-purposed the pomanders from our ceremony to save us more money! She is very very resourceful with the things she is given — she HAS to be if certain flowers only come in certain seasons!!– and obviously your budget too.


Another thing I loved about Kristen was how organized she was. For the things I had my heart set on, I sent her a list of everything I wanted, and she followed it to an absolute “T.” And for the other components that I didn’t care about, she just went to town and put her own personal flair into it and the final product was awesome! A good example of this was our guest book/gift table arrangement. I found this vase for $3 at Target and said, “Here Kristen, can you please do something with this for the gift table?” I didn’t really give her any direction other than colors, and she totally came up with the most beautiful piece that matched everything perfectly and was really unique! She is one of the vendors you can just trust to take care of everything and “over-deliver.” I showed her examples of the style I liked, and she came up with the rest! But if you have specific ideas, she can bring almost any of them alive! I can’t tell you how nice it was to have somebody that you didn’t have to babysit and worry about during the last few weeks of your wedding.


Also, Kristen is just very nice as a person. She got married the week before I did and re-arranged her OWN wedding date around mine … now that’s service! I wish her and her new husband nothing but happiness and truly believe my wedding would NOT have been as great as it was without her as our florist. She is going to be big one day!"
