A Sangria and Champagne Wedding in Glen Ellyn
Published on October 17th, 2010
Heather and Michael were married at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Batavia and had their reception at Abbington in Glen Ellyn. Their colors were champagne, sangria, burgundy and gold tones. For the personal flowers, Heather wanted a large, full bouquet of mostly roses, spray roses, stock and hanging amaranthus with satin loopies wihtin the bouquet. The colors ranged from champagne to magenta to burgundy and it was so lush and fabulous! The bridesmaids wore eggplant and carried bouquets to compliment that had champagne, ivory, magenta and burgundy roses and stock in them. The bouts and corsages consisted of roses and spray roses with gold accents. The ceremony flowers were simple altarpieces with gold branches and mums in the wedding colors. The reception flowers and decor including a seating chart, a birdcage card holder, memorial signs, a sign for the flipflops near the dancefloor, a monogrammed aisle runner, Italian table numbers, a manzanita tree for the escort card tables, little rose memorial flowers, and a toss bouquet. Everything was beautiful and I am so happy for Heather and Michael! I loved working with their wedding planner, Cynthia Rensink of Everlasting Elegant Wedding and can happily report we completed yet another successful event!
Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Costello!
