A Fluffy Bouquet for A Fit Bride!

Healthy & fit bride Brieanne and beau Tim were married at the Alice Millar Chapel on Northwestern University's campus in lovely Evanston, Illinois. Their reception was held at Maggiano's Italian Banquets in Skokie afterward. Brie and Tim's colors were ivory, champagne, light pink and light aqua blue and flowers included peonies, ranunculus, hydrangea and tulips. For the personal flowers, Brie wanted a beautiful, fluffy bouquet of peonies, tulips and ranunculus--so that is what she got! I loved her bouquet (and so did she!). The bridesmaids carried tulip and ranunculus bouquets with champagne and ivory lace-wrapped handles. They matched the dresses perfectly. Tim insisted on having a ranunculus bout, so that is what he got. It was the perfect compliment to Brieanne's awesome bouquet. The rest of the bouts were also made of ranunculus and the corsages were a tulip-ranunculus combo. The mother of the bride carried a mixed bouquet of peonies, hydrangea, and tulips. And the flower girl carried a basket of petals. For the ceremony, the chapel is so lovely we only did 2 altarpieces which were reused at the reception on the bars later that night. They were stunning, fluffy, showy arrangements made of hydrangea, peonies, French tulips, larkspur, and stock. For the reception, I made 11 mixed arrangements of hydrangea, peonies, and tulips wrapped with a band of aqua ribbon. The head table was decorated with petals and vases for the bouquets along with a toss bouquet. The cake was awesomely aqua with ivory piping detail and I added some pink peonies to it to complete the look. It was so fun working with Brieanne (long-distance) to plan her wedding flowers. They turned out so perfect and I am so glad to have been a part of Brie and Tim's big day. Another fun bonus of their wedding was it was shot by the talented Danielle Aquilline and she already posted some teaser images here.

Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Hilton!
