Dana and Jim were married at the beautiful St. Anne's Catholic Church in Barrington and had their reception at Concorde Banquets in Kildeer. Their colors were a fall mix plus pops of fuchsia--which looked just awesome! The flowers included mokara orchids, roses, spray roses, lisianthus, dahlias, snapdragons, and hydrangea with curly willow branches and fall leaves. For Dana's bouquet, she wanted to carry whites and ivories with a touch of purple. I used ivory roses, dahlias, champagne sweethearts, and white spray roses for the white tones and then accented with some fluffy purple lisianthus. The Bridesmaids carried bouquets of Black Magic roses, Circus roses, red spray roses, Calypso mokara orchids and yellowish-orange mokara orchids with handles wrapped in chocolate brown to match their dresses. The bouts and corsages were all made of roses and spray roses and wrapped in chocolate brown satin and the flower girl carried a perfect pomander of burgundy mini carnations with orange spray roses and fall leaves at the top. For the ceremony, we attached 8 stems of ivory hydrangea to the pews and I designed 2 altarpieces incorporating all of the colors and textures. They were awesome and we later reused them at the reception on the escort card and gift tables. We also did a Mary Offering and Parent Offerings for their traditional Catholic ceremony. For the Reception decor, Dana's mom provided fluted vases that I added curly willow branches with red, orange and fuchsia orchids on them. They went on 14 of the guest tables, and the other 10 guest tables got the votive candles provided by the venue surrounded by a lush mix of fall leaves, rose petals and orchid heads. The centerpiece flowers really popped against the neutral decor in the space! It looked awesome! For the head tables, we lined the front of the tables with petals and leaves and put vases for the bouquets out as well. The escort card table was also decorated with petals and leaves as was the cake table. The cake itself was just awesome and I loved how it turned out!!! One of my favorites to date for sure! It was so nice working with Dana to plan her wedding flowers and they turned out beautiful.
Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Daluga! All the best to you both!
