A Beautiful Purple, Green and Ivory Event at Germania Place
Sarah and Joe's wedding was held at St. Alphonsus Church in Chicago with a beautiful reception at Germania Place afterward. Their colors were warm purple ad green and flowers included dendrobiums, vandas, cymbidiums, bells of Ireland, hydrangea, tulips, callas, dianthus, hypericum berries, spider mums, lisianthus and stock. For the personal flowers Sarah carried a bouquet of purple, fuchsia, green and white flowers and the bridesmaids carried green and white bouquets. The bouts, corsages and floral wands were made with callas and orchids. For the reception decor we did 3 slant martini glasses with flowers pouring out of them on the escort card table. Our signature floral-rimmed card holder decorated the gift table and we put orchids on the top and down the sides of the cake. For the centerpieces we did 3 styles--a submerged trio of orchids and callas, a short mixed arrangement and a tall mixed arrangement with branches. We also made some fun paper items for this wedding--the programs, menus, table numbers and escort cards-- Which all worked perfectly with everything else! Everything for this wedding was so beautiful! We are so happy for Sarah and Joe and wish them a lifetime of happiness!
