A Beautiful Neutral-toned Wedding in Lake Forest & Lake Villa

white peach wedding Jamie and Danny had a beautiful wedding ceremony in Lake Forest at the beautiful Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel and used our brand new dark wood chuppah that we just finished!  After the ceremony, their reception was held at the awesome Lehman Mansion in Lake Villa, Illinois. Their colors included eggplant, champagne, cream, and ivory. Flowers included hydrangea, roses, spray roses, stock, callas, berries and foliage. The bouquets included a clean, chic, timeless mix of roses and callas. The bouts were made with callas and the rest of the personal flowers were made with callas, spray roses, berries and roses. The ceremony decor included an aisle runner, chair decorations down the aisle and our new chuppah. The reception was held in a beautiful mansion in Lake Villa. Part of the night occurred in the mansion itself and the rest of the night was held in an adjoining tent. The mansion held the cocktail hour, escort card table, guest book table, a memorial table and an easel displaying the ketubah. The tented area was where dinner, dancing and late night festivities occurred. We did some fabulous decorations for all of the spaces--including one of my favorite escort card table arrangements EVER and some really fabulous guest centerpieces. The cake also looked fantastic decorated with flowers...everything was just magical! One of the best parts of the event for me was at the end when Jamie thanked and hugged me, her mom thanked me, her mother-in-law thanked me and 2 of my awesome past couples came up and said "HI" and congratulated me on my upcoming role as a new mom...just a few more days until she's here! I love doing weddings for friends of past happy couples! So glad Jamie and Danny trusted that we'd do a great job with their wedding--we loved working with them! Congrats to you both!
