4th of July Flowers for Arrowhead

In addition to having a fun 4th of July-themed Wedding this year (to be blogged about soon), we also had to make a bouquet for Arrowhead Golf Club‘s annual 4th of July Parade. A fake bride and groom were going to walk in the parade and needed a festive boutonniere and bouquet so my friends Kristina & Anika at Arrowhead called on me to make something awesome.

Done and done!

Here is a close up on some of the blooms–white dendrobium orchids, red mokara, red roses, dusty miller, bee balm, hydrangea…and more!

Here is a close up on the bee balm which is like a little red firework–perfect for the 4th of July! Also in this shot is white stock and light blue tweedia.

And to make the handle more festive, we wrapped it in bright blue satin and light blue and red wired pearls.

And here is the finished bouquet!

Hope you all had a happy 4th of July!

THANK YOU! It was awesome. Guess what….Wheaton Park District’s Arrowhead Golf Club was recognized for the “Best Community Spirit”. Thanks for being a part it.
