Fall Leaves and Touches of Emerald at Arrowhead Golf Club
October 25, 2011
When my good friend Hillary’s sister Maureen got engaged I was honored when she asked me to do her and Tony’s wedding flowers. They wanted fall leaves all over the place and touches of emerald. We added leaves all around the venue, and into the altarpieces, bouquets and even the boutonnieres were made with leaves! We also designed some amazing lantern and manzanita tree centerpieces for the reception that had fall leaves in them, but the leaf-covered show-stopper of the night was the escort card tree with over a hundred hand-written paper leaf escort cards on it.
I was also honored when Maureen and Tony invited Matt and I to attend the wedding, since we usually don’t get invited to that many weddings these days. It was a totally fun wedding and it was at one of my favorite venues so the staff and food were awesome. Maureen & Tony’s friends and family were fantastic and the DJ was also our good friend Big Don at XL Entertainment so it really was a great night!
I wish Mo and Tony a lifetime of happiness! Congrats to you both!!!
