Kio at Indie Wed
July 27, 2011
We participated in the Indie Wed Summer Soiree at Room1520 in Chicago on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 5-9. It was an awesome, elite show of 52 of the best vendors in Chicagoland and we were happy to be a part of it.
This is our beautiful floral display and some of our awesome staff (and our friend Lauren LePine from Ryan Alexander Events). Our theme was “ombre” color which basically means a gradation from one color to another, we went from red to magenta to fuchsia to purple. We featured vintage, textural looks and modern looks and designed 5 totally unique bouquets. Flowers included a vast assortment: freesia, nerine lily, gloriosa lily, Hearts roses, Yazoo roses, High & Mora roses, Lilies, callas, stock, hydrangea, hot pink follies spray roses, red spray roses, silver sage, dusty miller, brunia, hanging amaranthus, wheat celosia, brain celosia, vanda orchids, dendrobium orchids, lisianthus, dahlias, zinnias, and Garden roses.
If you missed it be sure to check out our beautiful display!
