So Proud of: Tara Etrheim Photography

As many of you know, Kio Kreations employs a talented group of freelancers with backgrounds ranging from floral design to wedding planning to photography. That is where Tara Etrheim fits in, she is our Principal Photographer. Tara is graduating in a month with her Associates Degree in Photography from College of Dupage, and we could not be prouder of her!

In the nearly 2 years I have known Tara, her work continues to get better and better which each photo she takes. Tara is one of the main reasons Kio Kreations has such a beautiful portfolio–the professional looking photos we have of our work are frequently ones that Tara took for us while also helping set up the actual weddings we do. Tara has been doing an assortment of beautiful projects in and out of school. One of our favorites is her fruit series which you can see on her blog here. We also love seeing the engagement photos, wedding photos, pregnancy photos and baby photos she takes. Some of those can be seen here.

I was honored when Tara asked me to design her logo and business cards…they turned out fabulous and she (and I) fell in love with the little circle of dots that was part of the design. It became part of the watermark and also functions as pattern in the background of the cards and web banner. I was so happy with how they turned out and I already added them to my Coroflot Portfolio!

I cannot say enough things about Tara’s mad photography skills or how awesome she is as a person. We are so lucky to have found her, and I know she is headed for great things! (Hopefully we have her around for at least a little while longer though!!!)
