An Ivy Room Wedding Makes Room for My Chuppah

An Ivy Room Wedding Makes Room for My Chuppah

August 17, 2009

I just rented my Chuppah (Jewish wedding canopy) to a nice couple who were married today (yes, on a Monday) at the Ivy Room in Chicago.

First off, Ivy Room is an awesome venue! It is a beautiful, clean space with a gorgeous courtyard. Unfortunately, it rained on and off all day today so we had to set everything up in the building and did not get to use the courtyard for anything but pictures in between the rain.

My chuppah hasn’t been used for nearly 2 years but Amy and Jonathan found a post I did on it a couple months ago on my old blog. The look and price were right so they rented it. When it was all set up they were very happy with the results and it looked clean and sleek as they requested. This went so well that I hope to rent it out more and more!

We absolutely loved working with you, Kristen! The chuppah was beautiful, together with the fabric and set up it was rented at an unbelievable price, and you were so fantastic to work with. I’d recommend you (and this chuppah) to anyone! :)
